Our Vision
Bozeman Creek’s water, as it flows through downtown, forms a blue and green waterway, drawing people to it. It is an amenity to downtown rather than lingering as a community embarrassment. It could become a naturally functioning and connected creek corridor with healthy riparian areas, floodplains and the extensive trails system. It also presents a magnifier to explore the history of Indigenous communities and European settler impacts on the region. And yet, like the waterway itself, this vision for the creek must evolve, naturally by letting it take its own course as a result of community of involvement, collaboration and openness
Water links us to our neighbors in a way more profund and complex than any other.
